Recommended browsers
We regularly monitor and test browsers to ensure the highest quality standards. We may discontinue support of existing browsers if they no longer meet W3C standards or are no longer supported by their development company.
W3C standards Link opens another site that may not meet accessibility guidelines
Customers who use older or beta browser versions or other browsers may experience visual or functional difficulties with some pages.
Windows:
- Google Chrome 39.0 or higher*
- Firefox 48.0 or higher*
- Microsoft IE11 or higher*
- Microsoft Edge 14.0 or higher
Mac:
- Safari 8.0 or higher
- Google Chrome 39.0 or higher*
- Firefox 48.0 or higher*
*We don’t specify additional version levels for Firefox, Chrome or Internet Explorer 11 and above. These browsers use automatic updates, which means updates may occur rapidly and un-announced. However, these browsers all are based on current W3C guidelines and specifications and pass the stringent ACID tests for browser compliance.
Upgrade to another browser

- For Windows - Go to the Help menu and choose 'About...." A screen will appear showing which browser and version you are using.
- For Macs - Go to the menu at the top of your screen. The name of the browser appears in the menu bar, just to the right of the Apple logo, choose "About [your browser's name]."
- Browsers – Using older browsers, non-compatible browsers or disabling browser features, such as JavaScript, cookies and SSL, may reduce site functionality.
- Firewalls – If you’re accessing aa.com through a firewall or proxy, check with your Network Administrator to determine if cookies are permitted.
- JavaScript – Make sure you have Java enabled on your browser. To check if you have them enabled in IE go to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced, then check "JIT compiler enabled."
- IE compatibility mode – If you have used compatibility mode to access another application, be sure to re-set to Standards Mode. Compatibility mode is not supported on aa.com.
Internet Explorer has compatibility view, a feature that affects how some websites are displayed. To make sure aa.com works properly, remove aa.com from your list of sites that have compatibility view enabled.
For IE11 users:
- Right-click on the gear icon in the upper right corner.
- Select “Compatibility View Settings.”
- Choose aa.com under "Websites you've added to compatibility view." If you don't see "aa.com" listed, or if these steps don't help you resolve the problem, make sure your computer has the latest Windows updates.
- Click “Remove."
- At the bottom of the window, make sure that the box next to "Display all websites in compatibility view" is not checked.
- Click “Close.” The page you're on will refresh and display in normal IE11 standards mode.
If your Windows computer is administered by your organization, you may not be able to access compatibility view settings or remove aa.com from the list of affected domains. Please contact your administrator or help desk as they may have used a Windows group policy setting to set this parameter for you.
